easy and simple spring sweater to knit for beginners

Simple quick easy knit pullover sweater for your daily comfort

So, I was in hurry. If you read my previous post, you’d understand my urgent desire: needed a go-to pullover right away! It is knitters' favorite season ever: Sweater knitting and wearing weather! Perfect time to show off our knit wears to the world! Yes, indeed~

This time I decided to go with something rather casual and cozy. This pullover is from my old, old, and old (yes, triple old!) wish list at Ravelry. Any of you made one? I know it was pretty popular back then.

After the sad disaster (Read my previous post.) I was well prepared for this: made a swatch and carefully tracked all the sizes here and there. This piece was totally easy, simple and fun to knit. The interesting neckline that I haven’t tried before was a bit challenging but I figured it out quickly. It is always fun to learn new techniques through new projects. (Another reason to knit more!)

So, my dear friends who mourned with me last time while we are letting go of my old pullover, cry no more! Please join this celebration of birthing a new beautiful pullover I whipped up. The process has been so~ smooth and fun. I really enjoyed working on each and every part of the pullover. It turned out incredibly awesome as you see! Perhaps the most wearable piece I’ve ever created. (Woohoo!! I got my confidence back! Not fully, but good enough!) I am totally satisfied with both the process and the result. As you see the photos, I couldn't stop laughing while I was modeling this new go-to pullover!

By the way, if you’re curious a about what pattern I was using, this is the link you’re looking for. Beautiful pattern by Isabell Kraemer called ‘driftwood’. You can download the free PDF pattern from Ravelry. If you ever ended up making one let me know. We should celebrate together! Again, I recommend this pattern very much, much, and much! (Yes, triple much!)
